Description of the event
A spectacular dance performance inspired by the spirit of Spanish flamenco and Picasso’s art is coming to Poland for the first time! Prepare for an unforgettable evening filled with passion, emotions, and extraordinary energy. This mesmerizing show will take you into a magical world of dance, music, and light next year. Performances take place on September 7 in Poznań and the following day, September 8, in Kraków. Tickets go on sale on December 10 at www.biletserwis.pl.
The spectacle "Eterno" breaks the rules of traditional dance performances, creating a unique show inspired by Pablo Picasso’s art, accompanied by live music.
Renowned flamenco dancers, known for captivating audiences worldwide with their talent, will perform on stage. Their dynamic movements, hypnotic spins, and expressive gestures, combined with vibrant music and breathtaking stage design, create a spectacle that is remembered for a long time. Flamenco is an art that blends fire, intensity, and sensitivity - every step, every clap, and every guitar chord tells a story full of love, joy, and longing. The show will make hearts race and keep eyes glued to the stage.
"Eterno" is a two-act masterpiece with original live music and a cast of iconic figures in Spanish and contemporary dance. In this new production, Carlos Rodríguez, dancer and choreographer, immerses himself in the visual world of Pablo Picasso.
The performance is divided into two parts, which in this case means it consists of two choreographic pieces. The first act tells a story about the roots of flamenco and its contemporary spirit. It is a segment full of light, passion, and strength, showcasing various styles of this Spanish dance, deeply rooted in tradition and modernity. Here, live musicians create an atmosphere reminiscent of the Parisian aesthetic of the early 20th century, reflecting the life and circle of friends of a 19-year-old Pablo Picasso, who had just arrived in France. The young, aspiring artist develops his talent in this vibrant setting. The soundtrack for the first act, titled "Suite Picasso," was composed by guitarist and composer Manuel Urbina. The second act, titled "Eterno," is more contemporary, experimental, and eclectic. It breathes fresh, innovative life into Spanish dance, placing the audience inside the mind of the painter and revealing his vision of the world. This act features an original symphonic composition by Lucas Vidal.
The "Eterno" show, in the spirit of Spanish flamenco and inspired by the legendary Picasso, will take place twice next year:
