The American rock legend, Dave Matthews Band, is returning to Poland for their only performance in Warsaw. Intricate improvisations and lengthy solos are what fans of the band always look forward to, and they won't be disappointed this time either! A rock music feast awaits us in just a few months – on April 12, 2024, at COS Torwar in Warsaw. The event is organized by the Prestige MJM agency.

Dave Matthews Band has been a part of the global music scene since 1991. The group was founded by South African-born Dave Matthews, and over the years, they have made a real sensation. The band originated in Charlottesville, Virginia, where Dave Matthews Band Day is celebrated on September 27, the day when the group released their debut studio album, "Under the Table and Dreaming" in 1994. Their first live recording had been made a year earlier.

In 1991, vocalist and guitarist Dave Matthews had his music recorded on tapes that he wanted to share with the world. He sought support from experienced and already excellent musicians, including drummer Carter Beauford and saxophonist LeRoi Moore. Shortly after, 16-year-old bassist Stefan Lessard joined them. Their infectious, distinctive sound immediately captured significant attention and gathered a circle of ardent and loyal fans. Initially, they played in small venues, but very quickly, they transformed from a small band performing mainly in clubs into a giant, selling millions of records and performing for thousands of fans. Currently, the band has 10 studio albums, 85 live albums, 3 compilation albums, 8 video albums, 2 expanded editions, 36 singles, and 21 music videos to their name. They have sold nearly 40 million records in total, and this number also includes hundreds of bootlegs, unofficial recordings of the band available for free on the internet.

The music of this American group is a unique and seamless blend of jazz, folk, funk, and pop. The band is renowned for their long, three-hour concerts and extended improvisations like no other. Fans know that each Dave Matthews Band performance is different, and there's no such thing as repetitiveness. Some Polish fans have proudly shared their amateur recordings. Dave Matthews Band have visited Poland twice at the invitation of the Prestige MJM agency, in 2015 and 2019.
