David Garrett - the greatest violinist in the world will play in Warsaw!

The world-famous violin virtuoso David Garrett will play in Poland. His concerts are unforgettable musical spectacles. They are breathtaking and provide an amazing experience. The German-American virtuoso will be promoting his newest album "Iconic" which is about to go on sale. The artist who is undoubtedly known and loved by loyal crowds of fans, will perform April 18th 2023 in Warsaw. Pre-sale of tickets will start November 7th. Garrett was noticed by outstanding musicians as a few years old. He made his stage debut at the age of 10 and became the youngest artist to sign a contract with the prestigious Deutsche Grammophon label. The violinist was polishing his talent in one of the best music schools in the world - the recognizable Juilliard School in New York. From the moment of graduation to the present day, Garrett has collaborated with exceptional and best conductors in the world such as: Zubin Mehta, Christoph Eschenbach, Riccardo Chailly and Andrés Orozco-Estrada. The goal of David Garrett is to popularize classical music among a younger audience, which works out amazingly well - on Instagram he has almost 300,000 followers, and on Facebook - over a million.

The American violin virtuoso and conductor Yehudi Menuhin described Garrett as "the greatest violinist of his generation." Although he has recently turned forty, he has already released thirteen studio albums and over a million sold copies.

The latest album "Iconic" (which is about to go on sale) is inspired by the legendary works of violinists who have a very special place in Garrett's heart. These include the most popular compositions by such artists as Bach, Dvořák, Gluck, Kreisler, Mendelssohn and Schumann.

“Unfortunately, many beautiful works from earlier periods of the work of outstanding virtuosos fell into oblivion. Reminding the world of these beautiful melodies, I feel both honor and responsibility. I want to bring them back to life," says David Garrett.

Garrett also performed some of the songs on his latest album in duets, and invited his teachers and people who had a great influence on his musical and stage skills to collaborate. Among them are: Itzhak Perlman, tenor Andrea Bocelli, flutist Cocomi and trumpeter Till Brönner. During an "Iconic" tour, the artist will be accompanied by two instruments: guitar and bass.

- Playing sincere, spectacular and expressive, he enchanted us as a violinist when we had the pleasure of teaching him. Then we discovered his extraordinary gift and talent - said Eric Ewazen, one of Garrett’s many teachers, in an interview.

The songs on the album “Iconic” stand out from the melodies previously played by Garrett. These are classical compositions on which his musical character has developed. Now he has subjected them to his own interpretation, which is no less interesting than when pop-rock songs come from his instrument. The violinist has already shown that he is incredibly talented and that he can turn his performance into a show, whether he plays “Viva la Vida” by Coldplay, “Dangerous” by David Guetta, or when he presents classical melodies by Bach or Mozart.
