Description of the event

HAUSER, the global cello superstar, will present his extraordinary CINEMA program – featuring the greatest movie hits accompanied by an orchestra – on one of the most magical stages in Poland!

The CINEMA project, an album released in September, is a tribute to timeless soundtracks that have forever marked the history of film. During the Sopot concert, HAUSER will perform material from his latest record, which was recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Robert Ziegler. The audience will hear compositions such as "What Was I Made For?", "Mission: Impossible", "The Music of the Night", "Somewhere in Time", as well as romantic themes from "Out of Africa" and "A Time for Us."

"The CINEMA project has been on my mind for a long time. I have always wanted to bring my own voice to the world of film music. I wanted to shape what these beautiful soundtracks can be, both in terms of the film's message and beyond it. I want people to listen and try to evoke the feelings and memories that these movies triggered. And I honestly believe that everything sounds better on the cello, so I hope this will be a unique and beautiful experience for cinema lovers. Some themes are world-famous, while others are hidden gems. But once people hear them through the sound of the cello, I believe they will become new favorites," the artist emphasizes.

HAUSER promises that CINEMA will be a fusion of the best tracks from the album, iconic film themes reimagined for the stage, timeless hits beloved by fans worldwide, and elegant visuals that will enhance the cinematic atmosphere.

After a decade of spectacular success with the duo 2CELLOS, HAUSER has been successfully developing his solo career, winning the hearts of millions. He enjoys a massive following in Poland as well, as evidenced by his recent concerts in the country, which were resounding successes. His solo albums – Classic (2020), The Player (2022), Hauser Christmas (2023), Classic II (2024), and now CINEMA – have earned him over 2 billion audio streams and 4 billion video views. Admired for his magnetic stage personality, he has performed in over 40 countries at renowned venues such as Radio City Music Hall and the Royal Albert Hall, alongside artists like Andrea Bocelli, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Elton John. His artistic journey also includes appearances at the Venice International Film Festival, performances for the Pope, and features in major global media outlets.
