In her "adult" work, the singer has recorded 11 solo albums. Her hits „Im więcej ciebie tym mniej", „Piosenka światłoczuła" or „W biegu” were on the top on the radio charts. Natalia Kukulska is a winner of gold and platinum records and numerous music awards. Several times she was recognized as the vocalist of the year by radio. She was nominated for the Fryderyk Award 12 times, and in 2019 she won this statuette for the acoustic album „Szukaj w snach" recorded together with jazz guitarist Marek Napiórkowski.
In 2020, Natalia Kukulska surprised fans and critics by presenting the album "Czułe strny". The release was hailed as the largest artistic production on the domestic record market and an unprecedented event in the world. Selected works by Fryderyk Chopin were first arranged in the form of symphonic works for which texts were written. They received a new, multi-layered setting from five best Polish composers and arrangers: Krzysztof Herdzin, Nikola Kołodziejczyk, Adam Sztaba, Paweł Tomaszewski and Jan Smoczyński. The idea was framed by Sinfonia Varsovia. Next to the orchestra, great musicians appeared on the album, incl. Robert Kubiszyn, Michał Dąbrówka, Piotr Wrombel. The high level of the album was also influenced by the guest appearance of an outstanding pianist, Janusz Olejniczak, whose performances of Chopin are appreciated by the whole world. Summing up, nearly 100 people were involved in the recording of „Czułe Struny”.
On the new album, Natalia Kukulska performs Chopin's works in a completely new version, and she is also the author of half of the texts. Next to her, respected authors and artists, whom the singer invited to this project, are responsible for the lyrical layer. They are: Mela Koteluk, Kayah, Gaba Kulka, Natalia Grosiak (Mikromusic) and Bovska.
The album quickly became platinum. - The leitmotif of the album is tenderness. I am sure that experiencing such emotions and listening to the intricate nuances of arrangements and performances will be a great experience for both the performers and the audience. I am looking forward to these meetings with Chopin's music, the orchestra, conductors and the audience. It will be a celebration for me! - says Natalia Kukulska.
The album „Sensitive Strings" features the most famous works by Fryderyk Chopin, incl. Etude in E major, Polonaise in A flat major, Waltzes in A minor or Nocturne in E flat major. Natalia Kukulska will sing these and other compositions at two extraordinary concerts that will take place in 2022: on January 29 at the ICE Kraków Congress Center and on January 31 at the National Forum of Music in Wrocław. The artist will be accompanied by the Beethoven Academy Orchestra conducted by Adam Sztaba, Paweł Tomaszewski, Nikola Kołodziejczyk, Jan Smoczyński and Krzysztof Herdzin.
